
Acer’s first Android smartphone has begun shipping in the UK, interestingly this sleek Android handset is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor. Acer Liquid A1 is now available and in stock with retailers like Expansys at £339.99 ($556) and Clove at £328.99 ($538) price tag.
Meanwhile, Acer Liquid A1 will packed a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and triband (900/1900/2100) HSDPA, along with WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 5-megapixel camera. It’s a classic 12mm thick black and while color theme.
Although it is hype with Snapdragon which is capable of running 1GHz speed, Acer down-clock the processor to 768MHz to utilized the capability of 1,350mAh battery and mainly not draining it with a couple hour of usage.
