With the budding advocacy of saving the environment, efforts from the Technology industry perseveres to adhere that deed into their operations. Sony lived up with that vision at the CES 2010. They have displayed a netbook that claims to be an eco-friendly device and branded it as the Sony Vaio W series. The Sony Vaio W series is enclosed with a plastic chassis which is 23 percent recycled CDS. It also has a carrying case manufactured from PET bottles that eliminates the need of utilizing cardboards. Other features include a 10.1 inch LED backlit widescreen with 1333×768 resolution, a 250 GB hard drive, Microsoft 7, 1.66 Ghz Intel Atom Processor N450, 1GB RAM and a battery life of up to 7 hours. Sony tags being eco-friendly with being stylish as shown on the pictured white model of the Vaio W which blaze a glistening glow on its framework. It is currently available at Sony’s online store for $499.99.
